Barack Hussein Obama a Christian?
Posted by DarthDilbert at 3/30/2008 06:46:00 PMIn 1997 he introduced legislation declaring 1 November 1997 as "Islamic Community Day". The South Shore Islamic Community Center which SR110 was introduced for is owned by an Imam, Sidney R. Sharif, who wrote a book in August 1983 called "Crime and Corrections: An Al-Islamic Perspective".
On 16 August 2001, the Obama sponsored Illinois Senate Bill 750, the "Halal Food Act", was passed into law which provided for inspections by the Illinois Department of Agriculture to ensure that all food labeled Halal is prepared according to Islamic law.
On 27 February 2007, in an interview with Nicholas D. Kristof of the NY Times, Obama "recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent." Obama described the call to prayer as "one of the prettiest sounds on Earth". The opening lines of the prayer say "Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme! I witness that there is no god but Allah. I witness that there is no god but Allah. I witness that Muhammad is his prophet." Reuven Koret writes "According to Islamic scholars, reciting the Shahada, the Muslim declaration of faith, makes one a Muslim. This simple yet profound statement expresses a Muslim's complete acceptance of, and total commitment to, the message of Islam. Obama chanted it with pride and finesse."
On 1 February 2008 at a campaign event in Los Angeles, California he bragged about having credibility in the Muslim world.
On 26 March 2008, in Greensboro, North Carolina, Obama contended that belief in Jesus Christ wasn't necessary for salvation. With his pastor not being familiar with the Third Commandment as I wrote before, it's understandable that he may not have heard other passages from the Bible being taught during his years at Trinity United Church of Christ. In Matthew 3:5, Jesus says "Except a man be born of water and of the spirit, he cannot see the kingdom of God". Later in John 14:6, "Jesus said 'I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but through Me.'" Obama fails to understand that to reject this teaching is a rejection of one of the basic tenets of Christianity. Accidental?
Of course there are those who have been hypnotized by the Teflon Imam and refuse to accept facts, but how do they then reconcile Obama's own words? On 13 March 2007 at an event in Iowa, Obama said, "Nobody is suffering more than the Palestinian people." In chapter seven of "The Audacity Of Hope" he wrote that he would stand with Muslims "should the political winds shift in an ugly direction." In chapter eight of "Dreams Of My Father", he acknowledged spending "two years at a Muslim school" studying the Koran. Remember that the Koran teaches deceit. Quran 3:28 says "Don't have unbelieving friends unless it is to deceive them. Remember the final goal is to Allah." Quran 4:89 goes on to say, "Have no unbelieving friends. Kill the unbelievers wherever you find them".
If Barack Hussein Obama was supposedly not a Muslim from when he was documented as such as a child in Indonesia until he supposedly "converted" to Christianity - what was he for nearly thirty years?
