Digital "Fair Use" Bill introduced in Congress
Posted by DarthDilbert at 2/27/2007 10:25:00 PMThe "Freedom and Innovation Revitalizing U.S. Entrepreneurship" (or FAIR USE) Act is designed to "make it easier for digital media consumers to use the content they buy." Introduced by Congressmen Rich Boucher (RAT - Virginia) and John Dolittle (Republican - California) will amend the 1998 Digital Millennium Copyright Act. The FAIR USE Act is being supported by the Consumer Electronics Association.
