New Indoctrination Czar for Dayton Government Schools promises "no excuses" leadershipPosted by DarthDilbert at 3/24/2010 03:16:00 PM
Dayton Public Schools’ next superintendent, Lori L. Ward [registered democRAT since 5 October 1992], promised to continue and extend the district’s academic improvement that started under outgoing Superintendent Kurt Stanic.
"We will move the district forward to become the district of choice for this community," Ward said today, March 24, accepting the position of superintendent at the Dayton Board of Education Administration Building. Ward starts July 1 in her new role.
Ward, 52, is the district’s current No. 2 in command. She will replace Stanic, whose contract expires at the end of the school year.
Ward promised a "no excuses" style of district leadership and said she will hold staff to the highest expectations.
If "no excuses" is the new rule, what will happen to the indoctrinators when the next round of failing report cards is released for the district?
