Federal probe launched into Menendez's finances

After brewing for several months, news broke last night that an investigation by federal authorities has begun in looking into the financial activities of Senator Bob Menendez (democRAT-NJ). When Menendez was serving as a congressman, he was receiving $3,000 in monthly rent from a non-profit group – while working to obtain millions in Federal funds for them.
